I like Overtone because it hydrates and temporarily dyes my hair. I style my long hair everyday using heat styling tools so I try not to bleach my hair when possible. I’m always looking for the best hairstyling tool to style my hair while keeping my strands healthy. The solution I found for the time being is the daily conditioner + treatment line. They have pink, red, orange, green, blue, purple, silver, brown, red, black and other colors in between. You choose the intensity level depending on your hair’s current base color. The collection ranges from basic, pastel, vibrant, extreme and for brown hair. My favorite colors are the red, pink, purple and silver in the extreme, pastel and for brown hair collection. Sometimes I like to mix and match the colors so the strands have an ombre or two tone hair coloring effect. I also use the basics collection to temporarily dye my hair back to either black or chocolate brown from time to time. My hair length is long so it can get expensive to purchase the tubs so I alternate between the daily conditioners and stock up during the end of the year Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday sales. I appreciate that they have samplers for each color which are less expensive for people who wants to try out multiple color swatches to see which fits them best. The scent is minty fresh and I usually leave the treatment on overnight so I can get the best use out of the tub and skip the daily conditioner if I feel the color is vibrant enough. The order comes with a pair of disposable glove along with the instruction. Been using Overtone since the old packaging but love the new packaging so much better.

Absolutely gorgeous color. Was extremely easy to apply. It smells so delicious it's very minty. I only need a leave it in for twenty minutes in my hair took it beautifully. I like that it comes in a jar easy to seal back too!

Well I’ve never used the purple but the vibrant orange is perfect 😍. It keeps my hair hydrated while keeping my vibrant orange hair color warm and healthy. It truly extends my shade all the way up till it time to get my roots touched up. It has a nice herbal smell like rosemary and mint. I absolutely love how bright it makes my hair I use it every other wash for 15,minutes. Two 8oz containers last me until my next hair appointment.
