Love the versatility of this puzzle feeder! Since this is the first puzzle toy my puppy has tried, we first took the pieces out so my dog would only have to learn how to spin the feeder to get the food/treats out of it. She is an energetic one year old golden so any enrichment I can give her in a day I will. This is a great option to get her using her brain and nose!

My dog seems to like this puzzle a lot. He’s a smart little guy though so he did figure it out in about 2 minutes and lost interest in just eating his meals out of it. To combat that I started adding training treats and that resolved the problem. I will say that I don’t like that the puzzle has to be “open” (the different layers have to be spun out) in order to use all 3 of the bone shaped covers. I feel like that kind of defeats the purpose since the objective is spinning the layers open to reveal the food. My dog is also loves chewing plastic so the bones are all chewed up after a couple uses. I think he just needs a higher difficulty puzzle but I can’t find anything above a level 2 in stores. Either which way I deeply appreciate the couple minutes I get to clean or work without interruption thanks to these puzzles.

I was super excited to try this toy out with my 1 year old Samoyed who ALWAYS needs something to do. It's an awesome idea and works as it should. Unfortunately, my dog loves to destroy all of her toys instead of use them as they should, so she chewed it up instead of trying to use it as a puzzle lol. It's worth giving it a try for sure!
