Outward Hound Dog Backpack
My dog loves having a backpack on, it seems like she's a whole new dog when she has a job to do. The pockets on this are a good size and carry everything that's needed. It also fits very nicely and does not seem to irritate her skin at all. I have used it many times without any issues
As soon as my dog sees this pack he gets excited! He never seems to feel uncomfortable. It's perfect for holding snacks and small play items
A hiking must. I train with rucks for the military and this adds to my dogs muscular and cardio endurance! Also, he can carry his own crap!
Both my Border Collie and my Lab mix have this pack. We go backpacking on a regular basis, and it's just the perfect size! With proper weight distribution, I've never had a single issue with it sliding or riding up on the dogs' necks. It also sits exactly where I want it to on my dogs' backs. It fit exactly like the company said it would (with strap adjustment, of course). The only thing I wish it had was a D-ring to attach a leash, but putting a caribeaner on the handle did the trick.
This bag is perfect to keep all my dogs stuff. I like that it can hold a lot of stuff and it's a good size. Also it's easy to carry.
Q & A
Will my dog be comfortable in this product?
I've been looking for a backpack for my puppy. She's 6 months and a Jack Russell mix, about 11 pounds with a slim and long build. Has anyone used this for a small dog? Do they have sizes small enough?
Are these breathable? I get worried that my dog will get too hot hiking with this on in high temperatures.
