OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray
I bought the travel size of this texturizing spray because I have heard such good things about this brand and have wanted to try it out. I have super thick, coarse hair, and a dry scalp. I enjoy this texturizing hair spray, it helps my hair hold volume and isn’t sticky. It keeps my hair from getting greasy (I know it’s not a dry shampoo). However, it makes my scalp itch and so I don’t use it often. If you don’t have a severe dry scalp I would definitely purchase this product! I believe it would work wonders!
I started using this product a little over a year ago when I received it in a value pack from Sephora. I quickly fell in love and it was my go-to for every day curls. However, when I repurchased this past Christmas, I noticed the scent has changed. It used to have a calm, beach-type scent and I find that it now has a pungent, perfume smell. I still really enjoy the way this texturizer performs and feels in my hair, hence the four stars.
I am obsessed with this brand!! Everything I’ve used is amazing and works! I love Jen Atkins approach to everything she does!! She is so knowledgeable and it shows when you use her products! At this point I can’t turn back! Ouai for life!! OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray
Purchased at: Sephora
I just wanted to try this product so I got the mini and it was ok but my hair doesn’t involve a whole lot of texture so I don’t need a ton of texture spray! The scent was good those as always with ouai brands and it did work, just wasn’t for me and my hair type.
I don’t like that it gets rid of the shine in your hair, but I do like the way it makes my hair look. I don’t have the time or patience to do too much to my hair day-to-day, so this is very handy.
BEST PRODUCT. Okay so I have very healthy silky straight hair which is a blessing and a curse. When I curl my hair without this product it ends up very very flat and just not good I use this at the end you can actually see move volume along with it making more movement in my curls or beach waves. For curly hair I wouldn’t know if it would be a good product but for girls like me it’s the best and the smell is in my opinion amazing
The ouia line has been a dream cI me true! I have LOVED every product Jen Attkins has created. All though its a bit pricy i believe that you pay for quality! Sure you can use a a cheaper product but it will damage your hair! I gave this only 4 stars because i have heavy hair and it doesn’t do what I want it to do! I think she will come up with something for this hair type soon!!!
I learned about this product on YouTube while watching hair tutorials. In my opinion it does the job and when I use it my hair LOOKS good, but I don’t really like the way it feels. I know that a texturizing spray will always give your hair a gritty feel (duh that’s the point) and that’s fine. BUT for me I think this product makes my ends feel really dry! This is no bueno for my damaged bleach hair. I still use the product to achieve beach waves and have found that adding a little extra Rodin by recine hair oil before using this products cancels out the dryness. Ultimately I like this product and still would recommend it, but not to my ladies with color treated hair.
