  • "I've yet to find a product from Origins that I didn't like. This mask is amazing. I'm a sucker for anything with rose in it. This mask has rose infused Mediterranean clay, willow herb, and jojoba beads, to exfoliate. If you look at the ingredients, there's also grapefruit oil, which may cause a slight tingling sensation that goes away (with my sensitive skin) a minute after applying. This mask is completely dry by the ten minute mark, so it makes a quick addition to any beauty routine. I tend to use this whenever my skin is a bit lack luster and when my pores can use a bit of cleansing. You can knock out a few birds with one stone using this mask. " in 323 reviews

This mask I received through Influenster & Sephora Play! This is an awesome mask that is so soothing and visibly reduces the appearance or pore size while also brightening and works on getting rid of any texture you may have. The mask is a pink color, with small beads in it that help to exfoliate the skin. You apply the mask evenly, a thin layer to the face avoiding your eye area, let sit for about ten minutes and rinse in circular motions with warm water to remove. The beads in this mask are not harsh on the skin, I have pretty sensitive, dehydrated, acne prone skin, and this really helped with my blemishes and brightened up my skin immensely! It does not leave your face feeling super tight, and dry. It provides moisture and is effective at removing impurities leaving your pores visibly reduces in size. I definitely am going to purchase the full size of this because I am obsessed with it! #sephoraplay #contest #complimentary @Sephora @Influenster Origins Original Skin Retexturing Mask with Rose Clay

This product from the Origins Original Skin VoxBox was the one that suits me the most. I usually use clarifying masks 2-3 times a week and have quite a few of them on my vanity simply because I like to switch between different masks since they all work a little bit differently. Original Skin Retexturizing Mask becomes a nice addition to my collection even though I feel that it’s very basic kaolin mask.

I like the ingredients, the consistency and the fact that it doesn’t tighten your face during drying process and also doesn’t dry out the skin. As for consistency, the mask contains jojoba beads that should gently exfoliate your face, but I use a brush to apply masks and a sponge to remove them so I didn’t benefit from this feature. Probably if you wash the mask off with your fingertips using massaging motions you can notice polishing effect but I doubt it since the concentration of the beads is quite low and they’re very gentle itself. I can’t say much about refining effect simply because I don’t have a lot of a texture on my skin, but I don’t see any difference in terms of size of the pores in my T-zone. However my face looks more radiant and my skin tone is more even after using this product.

Overall it’s a decent mask but the price tag is too high for what you get in my opinion. No way I will switch to if from my must-have Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask.

I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.

Hearing the word "origins" immediately brings my mind to superhero origin stories. Along the same vein, Origins Original Skin Retexturing Mask (with Rose Clay!) is a hero in its own way, even if it's just for my skin.

I'm susceptible to mild breakouts every once in a while, and my skin is both dry and oily depending on which area you're pointing to on my face. My biggest issue are my pores--they love being the center of attention even when I try to hide them.

In comes the Origins Original Skin Retexturing Mask with Rose Clay (what a mouthful!). It is mildly exfoliating due to the jojoba beads, but so gentle with its combination of Canadian Willowherb, Persian Silk Tree, and Mediterranean Rose Clay. It has a delicate floral scent and he consistency of the mask--not too thin, not too heavy--makes it a pleasure to include in my weekly facials.

Most face masks can dry out my skin like crazy. You know that tight, pulling feeling where you're afraid of making any facial expressions for fear that you'll crack the mask? Not an issue with this. It doesn't feel as harsh--in between the feeling of a typical drying clay mask and a thick face cream--but is definitely effective. My face feels so much smoothr and even looks brighter after using it. I swear my pores even shrink in fear of this mask, causing my blemishes to disappear as well.

I only knocked off a star because of the price, but it's not that bad compared to other high-end skincare products. I'd definitely recommend this for people with combination skin looking to make small improvements pore-, dullness-, and texture-wise.

I used this for the first time last night along with my face steamer and honestly, this was heaven sent! Not only did it exfoliate my skin, it also kept it hydrated throughout the process without drying out my skin. This masks somewhat reminds me of origin’s charcoal mask due to its effectiveness of clearing out the pores but I’d choose this any day for the extra boost of hydration! I’ve only used this once so far and I’m already seeing a difference in my skin that 40-50 products couldn’t balance out. My texture is finally even without dry patches and my acne is no longer visible. Literally a minute after applying the mask, I knew that this mask would treat me good. I’d recommend this product to anyone and their mommas! Origins Original Skin Retexturing Mask with Rose Clay

Oh My!!!! Baby soft skin!!!
I was surprised and very impressed by this mask! I got the sample size because I have similar masks that were "eh" so I didn't have super high hopes for this one but it honestly blew me away. I have super sensitive skin and was worried this would cause me redness or breakouts and it did not! It definitely tingles when you first apply it but I had no adverse reactions whatsoever! Once I rinsed it off, my skin did not feel dry or tight, but perfectly and evenly moisturized, balanced, and BABY SOFT. I'm not kidding. I was so impressed! My skin has never felt that soft!! Most clay masks leave me feeling super dry and tight which I hate, but this one did not. I've got oily/combo skin (more oily than combo) that needs daily exfoliating, I've also got some acne including blackheads, and somewhat large pores. This helped my pores appear smaller (at least to me it does) I followed it up by using a serum and face cream, no need for toner. I plan to buy the full size and use it 1-2 times a week! Just make sure you really do keep it away from your eyes! Since it tingles, I would imagine if it got too close to your eyes it would cause some irritation. This mask is the best! Definitely a keeper.

I really like how gentle this product is and the smell is really nice, however it's not quite as effective as my glam glow brightening mask. It is much less expensive, and it doesn't irritate my skin if it's feeling more sensitive, so I do like to use this about once a week. It does work really well to exfoliate my skin and help even out any texture or uneven tone, but if I need to really deeply exfoliate I will use my GlamGlow mask or the Eradikate by Kate Somerville. However I would highly recommend this to someone who has more sensitive skin!

This mask is good for exfoliating. Other than that it really irritated my skin. I was using it about twice a week and about 3 weeks in I noticed that it was burning my face, I washed it off an saw that my face was very red and felt very irritated, I even had some raw areas where my skin had been rubbed off too much by the exfoliating factor. When I woke up the raw areas had scabbed over. I had not used any other exfoliating products that day that would have irritated my skin. If you have sensitive skin I would skip this mask.

Clay + Rose sound like some of my favorite things and this mask definitely lives up to the reviews. Origins always has products that make my skin feel great and don’t irritate it so this was a definite must try for me. I love feeling the clay tighten on my skin because it makes me feel like it’s actually working and the smell is very subtle. Would recommend and definitely buy again - thanks Origins Original Skin Retexturing Mask with Rose Clay

Ohhh, I really can’t put into words how much I love this. I suffer from textured, dry skin. If I feel like my skin is looking extra textured, I’ll use this mask, let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then wash off. I feel like it brightens and just magically makes things look better. I bought mine from Sephora and it was a little pricy, but I seriously couldn’t live without it. I would highly recommend this mask if you have any kind of skin texture issues.

I'm a big fan of clay masks. Some origins products NEVER worked for me. But I think I found ONE that does so far! This clay mask helps detox my pores to the bone. I have very sensitive skin, in the past, origin products irritated my skin. But this mask seemed to help more than harm. My skin felt soft and clean!!! And the rose smell is so delightful!

Recently tried this and didn't have the best experience with it. After a minute it felt like my skin was burning so I washed it off. Anyone else have a bad experience? Any good experience? Btw I do have sensitive skin so maybe that's a factor which is possible in my case. Thanks!
