I received a sample from my Sephora Play Box. When I read the How To Use, I was confused. A primer for masks? Why? Then, I read it can be a primer for the face before makeup or just a hydrating mist. I never needed it as a primer for a mask but it made an AMAZING face primer for makeup. I like it better Smashbox & MAC. Plus, I used it as a hydrating mist and it’s also fantastic alone. The smell is good too-not strong, just fresh. My skin felt so soft and radiant! I highly recommend. I use it more than my Mario rose water spray.

This felt like a hydrating mist, similar to a Mario badescu spray. I didn’t feel it was anything extra special and it wasn’t worth the price to me. The product does work nicely and hydrates the skin without irritation. However, there are cheaper alternatives that work just as well. Purchased at Sephora. It made no difference at all, it was like spraying water before the mask, and I don’t think the benefit was any different from spraying water. I’ve read that having your skin a little wet before applying any product improves absorption. I think that’s the only purpose of this mask primer. I don’t feel I need yet another step in my routine.

This is a must before all masks! This makes your skin feel so silky and smooth afterwards! I received this from my cousin as a gift (she loves and lives by this brand). I am not sure how much it costs because it was a gift but once I run out of it (I have had it for 6 months and I haven't even used half) I will definitely look into buying more!

I've used this so many times and I honestly don't think it does anything at all. I sometimes get irritated from spraying this on and then I'm weary to put a mask on immediately after in case it will increase my skins sensitivity to certain ingredients. I feel like this is a huge waste of money.

Dry skin happens all over when the change of seasons comes around again. Especialy spring, its hot then cold then rainy then sunny. This is an excellent spritz to keep your skin supple and hydrated without that slick oily feeling Origins GinZing™ Energy-Boosting Treatment Lotion Mist

Opening up pores before masking is the best way for a product to work its magic. This spray helps to prep the skin for masks both quickly and efficiently. I love that it’s all natural and that it smells fresh. No more waiting with a warm rag over my face!

This is definitely not a “necessary” step but I do find that it helps mud masks come off the face a lot easier. I’m not exactly sure if it helps products penetrate into the skin better but it definitely helped with the removal of hard-to-remove masks.

I like this product but I'm skeptical....It is nice to use prior to masking - I definitely have a masking routine and often times use Fix+ before and/or after the mask, so finding a product specifically designed for this purpose got me pretty excited. I did use it before masking and I do have to say masking was smoother this time.

So far I only used it once and it feels good on the skin. I will probably continue using.

I really wanted to love this but to me it is just a hydrating toner mist. On the plus side it is a fairly good sized bottle and I do use it for setting my makeup ask well as wetting my brushes but if you think about it how often do you mask that you would use a bottle that large?  Just spritz your essence before you mask and you will be good to go.

I got this product in my May Sephora Play! Box and was only able to try it one time because the sample was so small. Has anyone been able to try it out multiple times and seen a difference in their masking experience? I love the Origins brand and would love to know if this product is worth it or not!

Is this something that can actually help the process of doing a facemask?

I want to try this with the overnight drink up intensive mask, but my skin is really sensitive and I'm scared to add to may products to it and leave it over night. Has anyone else tired it with this mask?

I've seen some things about these mask primers and I'm a little skeptical. Does this really change anything about doing a mask? I'd like to know from someone who's tried it before I try it

Does anyone notice a difference while using this? I've only used it once and it was with their charcoal mask.
