Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins
- "After a whole year I finally finished this product and I have to say its pretty good. Smells amazing! Citrus scent. It's a bit thick, very moisturizing. Does feel greasy (I have oily skin) but I only felt the greasiness during the summer. Around fall/winter I found the cream to be more hydrating and helped my skin to bring back its radiance during the cold/dry winter months. " in 364 reviews
- "I love this! In the summer, my skin gets very oily, but in winter it gets dry and flaky on my forehead and eyebrows. I've used this every night for 3 months and my skin is completely balanced, no oily or dry patches. Plus, I'm not even half way through the jar. This has a very nice citrus/ginger scent that doesn't linger. It does make my skin look and feel oily for the first 10 minutes after applying it, but it eventually sinks in." in 257 reviews
- "I have been using this for over a year and I refuse to try anything else. It is perfect for my combination skin and isn't too much that I feel like I have a thick layer of grease on my face while I sleep. When I wake up in the morning my skin is so soft and has the most even complexion! My skin is also very sensitive but this just the right combination that it is not too much for my skin!! TRY IT!!! I will be highly surprised if you don't like it. " in 130 reviews
Eeehhh. I was really excited about this one because I had heard many youtubers swearing by this. I used it for awhile and saw no difference in my skin. It definitely wasn't bad but it also did nothing for me. The verdict is still out on this one, I've been wanting to give it another try so I just might but honestly I wouldn't recommend it
This is a nice thicker night cream that I use when I want something heavier. Does not make my face break out.
I had a lot of success with the Origins gin zings moisturizer, so when I got the opportunity to try this one, I jumped. I was hoping it could possibly replace my Drunk Elephant Lala Retro, which I absolutely love as a nighttime moisturizer in every way but the price tag. This does have a similar thick, creamy consistency, and feels good on my dry skin. It has a refreshing scent to it, a little like citrus and vanilla, but not too strong. I still think I prefer the Drunk Elephant, but this is slightly less expensive, sold at Ulta (I'd pick their rewards system over Sephora's any day), and now that I'm not living in the frigid cold Northeast, I think this one will work just fine for me. But for dry-skinned gals in cold places, I'd recommend the Lala over this one; there's just something about that product that rejuvenates the skin so well.
