This gorgeous and heavy weight roaster will perfectly fry your chicken or roast your tender pork loin. The high dome lid means it won’t stick to the top and has plenty of room for a tall roast or a rack of lamb, too. The handles stayed cool enough to move the pan around despite being used on a gas range although I did not try to pick it up. It heated evenly and the temperature stayed consistent throughout without overheating and burning my chicken. I don’t usually fry chicken in a roasting pan, but the weight and depth felt perfect, so I thought I’d try it. Actually worked perfectly. Make sure if you have the stainless version you read the pamphlet, because they want you to season this one similar to cast iron. Personally I’ve never done that before with stainless but I followed the directions which were incredibly simple. Overall the pan is lovely. The lid has a nice depth and weight to it, and the quality seems fine. It does seem a touch basic for the price point, but if you’re a fan of the minimalist style (I am) I think you’ll be pleased. I think if you want a pan that is excellent quality and pleasing to the eye that you can go from stove to the table in one dish, then look no farther. In addition I’ve shown that it’s easily versatile enough for roasting or frying or likely any other task you need it for. Take care of it and I suspect it will last you a lifetime.

The Fissler round roaster with high dome lid is absolutely stunning. You can look and see it’s exceptional quality and well built to last forever. It’s a large capacity roaster that can be used on electric and gas ranges. Its satin finish 18/10 stainless steel and dish washer safe. This roaster has beautiful detailing work. Cooking has been an enjoyable experience.

I love everything about this roaster. It is beautiful and high quality. The temperature stayed consistent throughout cooking and my food tastes amazing. Usually when slow cooking in my dutch oven, the food sticks to the bottom; not with this roaster! This is my new favorite!
