I was told to start using anti aging products as quickly as I can! I'm 22 and was wondering if I should incorporate this product into my skincare routine?

You should incorporate anti aging products asap! It's easier to prevent than to fix. That being said all products are not created equal. Anything w antioxidants would be highly ineffective in jar as they oxidize and become ineffective ie vitamin c so packaging should be stable. There are only a few known anti aging ingredients and this Olay product has 1: vit A derivative retinyl palmitate, the least strong derivative.. aka a lesser retinol. Otc-wise it is about as good as it gets.I'd look for anything with a form of retinol. Niacinimide to reduce hyperpigmentation, peptides also have proven efficacy.

Depending on your budget & skin care concerns I'd look for anything with a form of retinol (retinol itsself can only be purchased through prescription by a Dr in the US), niacinimide to reduce hyperpigmentation, peptides also have proven efficacy.

Anything w antioxidants would be highly ineffective in jar as they oxidize and become ineffective. There are only a few known anti aging ingredients and this Olay product has one: vitamin a derivative called retinyl palmitate which is the least strong derivative.. aka a lesser retinol. Over the counter-wise it is about as good as it gets. Depending on your budget and skin care concerns I'd look for anything with a form of retinol (retinol itsself can only be purchased through prescription by a Dr in the US) as well as vitamin C (make sure to find an airtight & light proof bottle), niacinimide is clinically proven to reduce hyperpigmentation, peptides are also on the short list of ingredients w known efficacy.
