This is the magic reset button I've longed for my hair after abusing it with relaxers and heat tools for years. Since going natural I have seen less breakage and lots of hair growth, but once I added this into my routine, it has improved the look and feel of my hair immensely.

The instant results I get with this is akin to the tea rinses I used to use for hair shedding and strengthening, but this is easier to apply, much more moisturizing and gentle, plus it leaves my hair silky, defined, frizz/spilt-end free, and detangled. My curls are seriously poppin' with this!

Sure, it's yet another step in my wash day routine (I put it on after doing a light shampoo first, then rinsed it out after letting it marinate for 1 hour, then shampooed and deep conditioned like normal), but it's so worth it to have my hair retaining moisture and feeling strong and soft to the touch.

It's why I highly recommend this for those who are transitioning from relaxers to natural hair or who are wanting to reverse the damage done by chemical damage. This product repairs those broken bonds, brings back your curl pattern, and gets you on the path to rebuild and bring health back to your hair.

I admit that I'm not wild about the price ($28 at Sephora) for the small amount you receive (since my hair is on the short side, I'm getting about 4 uses out of it), but this sorcery in a bottle is worth it and the repurchase for all the benefits you gain.

Well, search no more, this is THE product to have if you have treated or damaged hair. Lucky me, I have both- as a working model, I have hot tools used on my fine, blonde, chemically treated hair constantly. After one particularly aggressive stylist burnt my hair (as in the ends were singed and my hair felt like stripped, limp straw), this literally saved my hair. I slept in this two nights spaced two nights apart and this revived the lustre and feel of my hair, restoring it back to the point that I went from sobbing to full of hope and feeling like it looked almost back to normal. It looks the same except my natural waves have not returned.

My stylist had just started using the salon Olaplex in my foils and I saw a huge difference from that as well. I am OBSESSED with this brand, for what you get I think the cost is a steal. I spent more on my OUAI masque packets and didn't get a fraction of the results I get from this bottle. I paid $28 for it at my local salon.
If your hair is damaged, please get this as soon as possible. Let it sit in your hair for long periods of time over the course of a few days and let it work. It literally re-bonds your hair using a pretty sophisticated chemical process (watch some youtube videos for detailed explanations!). I will use this weekly for the rest of my life!!

This was a life saver for my hair. My hair was dead after I bleached it the third time. It looked frizzy and dry. I saw a YouTube girl who included this into her hair routine so I decided to give it a try.
I purchased it online on Sephora for $24. It is a bit expensive/pricey for the size because you don't get a lot of product out of it. But I would definitely re-purchase it because it works! It doesn't just make my hair feels nice but it gave back life to my hair.
I originally went to the mall to purchase it in-store but it was sold out because it is a popular hair care items. I called every week to check if they had it in stock but NOPE! So I finally just ordered it online. So just beware of that if you're going out your way to purchase it in-store. Maybe call ahead of time and ask them if they had in stock. Can save you time and gas.
The direction says to apply it to damp hair and leave in for 10 mins or longer. I usually apply it to dry/damp hair and leave it on for about 30-40 mins.
Overall this product made my hair look more silky and shiny. I recommend it to anyone who has damage hair.

Olaplex is a hair life changing product, and I would give it a 5 star review except for one thing.

My natural hair color is a level 3 (pretty dark). I damaged my hair by dying it red, blue, blonde, etc. My hair was completely dry and pieces would snap off. I dyed my hair back to my hair color (or as close as I could) and started using Olaplex.

Out of all the hair treatments I used, Olaplex was definitely the best one. After a two or three treatments, my hair was noticeably healthier and it was able to keep growing.

Now, the reason I took a star off... Olaplex "may" make your hair harder to lighten if you don't use it properly. The bottle and a lot of hairstylist recommend to use it up to 10 minutes. A lot of people will sleep with it on (myself included), because more is more, right? However, if you are working on getting your hair balayaged or lighter, it might be a big more difficult if you are using Olaplex longer than the 10 minutes that's recommended. The reason is because it seals your hair, and therefore colors are harder to penetrate.

I am not a hair expert, and it could be that the statement above has proven invalid - but I wanted to write it because maybe some of you have noticed that your hair is different on how it absorbs your hair color. There are a few videos out there explaining this too. I would suggest talking to your hairstylist and doing some research - specially if your hair is naturally dark, but you are trying/thinking of going lighter.

I picked up this little miracle in a bottle via the Sephora VIB sale.  I have long, thick, coarse and wavy hair.  Pretty much a nightmare.  Not to mention I have hard water that leaves my hair with mineral build up in it.  To combat that I use a clarifying shampoo and try to wash my hair only 2 times a week. I wanted to use a conditioner that would give me the absolute best for my hair when I only apply 2 times a week.   With Olaplex No. 3, I have found just that.

I have spent oodles of money on my skin and makeup, without giving much thought to my hair.  Not considering the quality of product I use on it.  I figured, I don't blow dry or iron my hair very often how much damage could I be doing?  The answer, after using this product,  A LOT.  I read other reviews saying they left the treatment on over night.  So I did just that, I wash my hair very well, did not use my usual Its a 10 mask, and towel dried my hair.  I sectioned my hair off into 9 different section (remember I said it was long and thick) and applied a nickle size amount to each section.  I combed out my hair and let it air dry.  The next morning I rinsed my hair out to get the product out and let my hair air dry, and found my hair was just a bit better.

The next time I used the product, I went through all the same steps, but left the treatment in my hair, did not rinse it out.  WOW! My hair is like silk.  My main concern was to nourish and revive the hair, I was not concerned about how it would turn out if I styled it....However I do think if I used a barrel curing iron on it it would turn out amazing.  I think I will get 10 uses out of the bottle before I re-up.  Do your hair a favor, treat it to this nourishing treatment.

Love this stuff! I don't actually use it as a mask as suggested on the
bottle, but instead, I apply it as a leave-in treatment. I put about a
nickel-sized amount in my hand and run it through my towel dried hair
after combing it. I concentrate most of it toward the ends and lightly
apply the remaining product closer to my roots (I avoid applying too
much product near my roots so that my hair doesn't get greasy).
Generally, I just let my hair air dry after this and it makes my hair so
soft and shiny it's unreal! It makes it look incredible when I heat
style it too, however, I hardly heat style my hair anymore because this
stuff makes my waves look amazing. It's definitely a must-have that will
transform your hair

I have very damaged hair - I’ve been relaxing my hair since I was 13, and straightened my hair all throughout high school and college. I only recently decided to go natural, because I had a crazy amount of breakage and my hair was 70% split ends. Since using Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3, my hair feels healthy, shiny, and I rarely find split ends. Its definitely helped with my hair growth too! My only qualm with this product is that it is $28 for a TEENY bottle. It took me forever to find it at Sephora because it’s hidden in the tiny travel sized section! I don’t buy this regularly, but if you have damaged hair I would definitely consider taking the financial plunge for this little guy.

If you dye your hair alot you know it feels to not be able to run your fingers through your hair without it getting caught up together and the struggle of combing your hair with hair falling off. I was introduce to olaplex when I decided to finally go to the salon and get my hair dyed. I bought this product and took it home and I love it! My can finally comb my hair and my hair doesn't look so damaging. Sucks how I ran out of it, because I'm back to square 1, will be getting more! It's a must to have if you want your hair looking healthy and feeling soft.

This stuff was amazing! I have thin frizzy colored treated hair and I was so surprised after using this product my hair didn’t even feel like my hair! It felt so soft and it was so easy to run my fingers through it. First, I shampooed my hair and they I towel dried it and took a generous amount of the product and put it all over my hair from scalp to the ends and I let that sit for 30 minutes. After that I got back in the shower and rinsed the product out then applied condition and rinsed again. The process for application is a little weird and inconvenient but it was well worth it. Also I wish they made the bottles bigger for the price. While I may have thin hair it’s still very long and this bottle is only good for about 2 uses for me. Bottom line I would still recommend this!

Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 I had first heard of Olaplex through Instagram where it seemed like everyone was trying it! I finally got to try it after getting blonde pintura highlights and the stylist incorporating No. 1 and 2 into the dyeing process. Since my hair is naturally curly and dyed blonde, it’s prone to being a bit dry. While Olaplex isn’t a moisturizing treatment, my hair always feels much healthier after having used it. It has a nice, light smell and it’s easy to apply. I’m still on my first bottle and have used this 4 or 5 times, so I believe that price is worth it since you get so much from it. If you have damaged hair from heat, dyeing, or chemical treatments, I absolutely recommend this!

I paid extra for the olaplex treatment when I initially dyed my hair and then ordered the third step online to use intermittently. I thought I noticed a big difference with the treatment from the salon but I don't notice any kind of smoothness or healthiness after using step three on my own. Is it meant to be used on its own?

Do you use conditioner on your hair daily, once a week , or few times a month. I really dislike conditioner daily. I feel like I lose hair. I condition 2x a month , ends only. Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 is amazing for color treated hair. What do you use ? And how often?

IS this product worth the cost? My stylist is charging $40 for an olaplex treatment, but isn't giving my the third step in-home treatment. That means I've got to pay for in addition to the salon service. Should I get it?

What is the best way to use this? I've bleached my hair to go blonde a few times, my hair is pretty dry but gets oily at the roots. Is it better to leave it in overnight with a cap on or let it sit for a few hours? Not sure what is the best route for the best results.

I've read excellent reviews about this product. How long does it usually last? It's a big investment!
