In addition to the pictured items, my kit came with No. 0, No. 3, and the Bonding Oil. On separate occasions, I tried all of these together and separately. On its own, I liked the moisture mask the most, as my hair tends to be on the drier side. I also enjoyed using the bonding oil. However, I didn’t really notice a huge difference using any of the rest of the products, either in their recommended succession, on their own, or mixed with other products that I know work well with my hair. They did smell nice, especially the conditioner and moisture mask. Overall, this was a nice kit to try out the brand, but the included products didn’t wow me.

This is the first time I’ve tried any olaplex products. I was gifted this set and only recently got round to using it. I followed the olaplex instructions - starting off with no 0 and leaving it for 10 mins, then applying no 3 and leaving it for 10 mins. Then I applied no 4 (shampoo) and washed my hair, followed by no 5 (conditioner). I ended with no 8, the hair mask. I can’t say there is a huge noticeable difference, though my hair wasn’t particularly in bad condition. I liked the products, the scent and feel was like salon products. I like the simple steps, and the thought of giving my hair some TLC, not just another wash. I’m hoping to use it again and perhaps there will be more of a difference. I’m not sure of the price as it was a present, but I think it’s a nice gift for someone who is into beauty, as it’s simple to use and all the scientific claims sound great!

I had used the No. 3 hair perfector and No. 7 hair oil before. But I had never actually tried the whole system together. After using all of this on the same wash day, I can say I was very impressed by the result! My hands slide through my fingers like butter and it feels sooo nice to touch. My ends look healthier too!
