This lens is a must. Especially if you are a beginner like I am. I absolutely love this lens. I have been a huge fan since day one. I have not tried other lenses aside form the kit ones that came with my D3300. I haven't really felt the need to. The quality of the photos are just amazing.

This lens is definitely a necessity!! 35mm is my favorite to shoot but when you add the 1.4 it’s a whole new ball game. Definitely an expensive lens but a favorite in my collection! I prefer the 35 over the 50 and 80. Just a great crop in my opinion!

As a professional photographer I have used this lens for years. I have used it to shoot entire weddings before from beginning to end. It provides a much deeper field of view than my old 50mm. The lens is cost effective but also user friendly. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good prime lens.
