It's a decent wine for being so cheap. It's not my favorite by this brand, but its fine. A nice raspberry and cherry flavor. It's bold and rich, which I like. Sweet but also a bit dry. A nice balance. It's about $6/1.5 L. I would recommend.

I have this frequently throughout the winter months. It is quite sweet, but over time you get used to that. It is like your frugal gal pal who is always sweet and there to get you through the gloom of the great winter horror show that plagues many a Mainer. If find it is better after letting it breathe for a bit. Even my husband knows to grab a bottle for me when he is at the store.

This wine surprised me. When I first uncorked it it smelled like vinegar mixed with paint thinner, BUT I hesitantly took a sip and it was surprisingly good. Very sweet and smooth taste. Even my husband who doesn’t drink wine enjoyed the taste but he agreed the smell was awful.
