I purchased the NYX Total Control Drop Foundation at my local Fred Meyer! I absolutely love this buildable foundation a little goes a long way and it has surprisingly good coverage for as lightweight of a product it is.i bought the wrong shade, I need something a bit darker but I’m using it as a concealer and have mixed it with a darker foundation to give me a closer match! I will definitely be finding my correct shade and purchasing this product again!

I can't get behind the hype around this foundation. I love NYX as a brand, so I was very disappointed that this foundation didn't work for me.  A little bit about my skin type: I have extremely oily skin and texture.  I look for foundations that are matte and long lasting, since I'm usually out and about during the day.

Pros: The shade range is decent, so hopefully everyone can find a shade that works for them.  This foundation would probably work for dry/normal skin with not a lot to cover, since the coverage is pretty light and it doesn't dry down very matte.

Cons: The consistency is so liquidy and thin.  I bought this foundation with the recommended NYX brush, and it just soaked up the product.  I believe it recommended 4-6 drops for full coverage, but I used at least 10 drops and only got light to medium coverage with another foundation brush.  Even though I set this foundation with a powder, I still became oily after a few hours and it made my face look horrible.  My blush and bronzer did not blend well on top of this foundation either.  Lastly, this foundation is so expensive for drugstore prices! $14 for a little bottle is a lot, and it is not worth it for me.  If you have oily skin or need a lot of coverage, stay away from this foundation.

I love this foundation! I need to but it in different shades so i can use all year round! I found mine at target(which i recommend because they have more shades than Ulta, etc.) only cost about $13. Very inexpensive. It leaves my face looking matte and does a good job of staying throughout the whole day(would use with setting spray and primer). One more thing that i love about this foundation is that you can add more drops for move coverage or less drops if you just want a little bit of coverage. Would definitely recommend!

So far this is my favorite foundation! Makes your skin look Uber smooth & you get so much coverage with only one drop! I've had this little bottle for almost a year now & there's still a good amount left. So I'm saving a bunch! I love the little dropper as well. Doesn't really seem to get cakey either which makes me so happy. My #1 foundation ❤️

Review for: Porcelain more...
Okay, so I know this has been around for a while and I've been tempted to buy it for quite some time due to the amount of raving reviews but I usually stay away from any foundation when I hear the word matte... I've always been more of a Dewy girl. When I saw it on sale for $7,99 I decided to finally go for it. First, buying online I took the chance and ordered Porcelain because this is the shade that I get in most foundations I buy and it was a perfect match. I was very intrigued with the dropper /buildable concept. I definitely NEVER go full coverage so I figured despite the bottle being very small it should last a while since I only go light to medium coverage. The one Con is that it took quite a few more drops just to achieve light coverage than the product states. For application I took a different route than normal. Usually I apply strictly with beauty blender but with this, I dropped the foundation directly to my face and used one of the Oval brushes to blend it out. These brushes are nice and dense, soft, don't absorb product and produce an air brush looking finish which made it perfect for such a watery formula. Thankfully, after you start blending the foundation thickens up a bit. I finished by just using my beauty blender to make sure the product was not just sitting on top of my face and to soak up any potentially extra product. You want to wait until foundation is completely dry before using setting powder (and don't apply until your primer is completely dry as well). So, my final thoughts is that I was kind of blown away. The coverage was light but made my complexion look flawless and natural. Though it states it's a matte finish... It's not the chalky looking full blown matte look of other foundations. I'd call it more like a natural finish. And after applying the rest of my makeup, particularly my highlighter I was even more in love with this product. This Pic was taken about 3 hrs after initial application with no touchups and it looks the same as it did right after applying. I honestly didn't think I would fall helplessly in love with this like I did but I don't imagine I'll be buying any other foundation in the foreseeable future!

I purchased this because I've never used a drop foundation before and really wanted to try one just because I've seen many tutorials where they been used and the people doing the tutorials always look amazing. I liked that the foundation didn't feel cakey or heavy. Instead it was light and had decent coverage.

Review for: Buff more...
This is a 10 in numeral shade , buff in name shade . Im not light tan and this color has a pale finishing touch and the next shade being the 11 is too dark for me , its formula is good to buy 2 and mix and match to get your perfect shade i just wasnt sure at the time of my purchase . It has great coverage but not full. Medium-full coverage . It is super liquidy but once you start moving it around (better with a brush) it starts creating thickness and coverage . It sets powdery , by that i mean its not drying but it does have a matte finish , but if you tend to touch and hug others with ur face or even chin it will stain clothes . Its as if you did powder foundation ontop, even if you did set it , makes it even more powdery but not cakey . And it is odd and all but its great to me just i didnt choose the right color . I havent tried setting it with matte setting spray so i dont know if the color trespassing would cancel out as so . It does not dry out through out the time of wear like some dewy foundations at the end of the day arent dewy this isnt dewy but not matte and stays exactly how you finished until you take it off .

Review for: Alabaster more...
This has quickly become my favorite drugstore foundation. I have very sensitive and very pale dry skin, which says something about the product. Many foundations irritate my skin, but not this one! I was even amazed to see that this product had shades lighter than my skin tone, which is hard to imagine because I'm usually the palest shade if at all. The only hiccup with this product is that it does apply very liquidy at first. So if you try to apply it with a brush it might become very frustrating. To apply this product I put a couple drops on each cheek, my chin, and my forehead. Then I spread the products around with my fingers before I fine tune the application with a beauty blender or my sigma F80. I then set my t-zone with setting powder and I'm good to go. This product can easily build coverage and is fairly long lasting. It makes my skin look smooth and flawless. I would recommend exfoliating 1-2 times per week when using this product. If you are using a full coverage look it can emphasize those dead skin cells, which isn't cute. Overall, I highly recommend.

I just started using this foundation a few days ago and so far I am impressed with it. It has a matte finish but is not overly drying. It also lasts for an incredibly long time. I can put it on in the morning and it will not budge all day long. I was able to find a perfect color match for my skin tone, but I bought it at Ulta which had testers out so I was able to try out a few shades and figure out which one worked best for me. It may be a bit challenging to judge the color from the packaging if you are purchasing it somewhere without testers. The only downsides to this foundation are that you do not get a whole lot of product in each bottle, so I am not sure how long this will last me and it is on the more expensive end of drugstore foundations. Also, figuring out how to apply it can be a bit of a challenge because the formula is so runny. However, once you have found a method that works for you (I just put the drops on the back of my hand and then dip the recommended brush into the product to apply) then it is not so bad. I have heard of other methods like using a sponge instead of the brush or applying the drops directly to your face (I tried this but felt like it was strange because of how runny the foundation is). All in all, I think it is a good product and  would recommend giving it a try if you are curious.

I have to be honest. I wasn't too thrilled with this foundation. The foundation brush that they sell in addition to the foundation just sucks up the product. I found that it worked and blended better if I used a beauty sponge. There were still areas on my face that seemed patchy. I will give it another try, but wouldn't really recommend this to someone unless they have flawless skin.

I have really dry skin right now thank to winter? Do you recommend this foundation? I want to try it but I don't want to waste my money if it's not meant for my skin type
