- "These are so pretty, and have good color payoff with a good eye primer! They blend easily, and have such a pretty, pearly sheen. They aren't super sparkly, and are perfect for day or night looks. Great for all ages and all budgets. I'm not so keen on the packaging, but they travel well and it's easy to tap out a little bit for application with fingers or a brush!" in 88 reviews
I suggest foiling these pigments (dry, they're a little lackluster) and using a shader brush to pack onto the lid over a primer - used this way, these shadows shine with a beautiful shimmer. When applied as describe, I find these last all night on the eye, with very little fallout. They are a bit messy to use, but overall, they work well for the price point. If you're looking for a pigment but don't want to spend a lot of cash, these are a good buy!
I am reviewing True Purple Pear, Lilac, and Purple Violet. I suggest using your favorite primer and locking it in with your favorite makeup setting spray. It won’t last long if you don’t. The Lilac is versatile for what I want it for. I can double it as an eyeshadow or a highlighter, IF I use my thin fan brush and apply it lightly. Sorry for the background noise. My boyfriend was watching a movie.
I truly love pigments. I love putting them in my inner corner of my eyes. I also feel that I can always add some colour if I need too if I've messed up. I think that pigments stay on longer because you pay them on your eye. I don't think most people pay their eyeshadow when applying but you should and it will stay longer.
