Sunshine is important to our lives because it converts to Vitamin D in our bodies. Because modern work days keep us indoors most of the time, we may not be getting enough of this precious vitamin. Schedules usually start at sunrise and end at sunset preventing us from seeing much of the sun in-between. In addition to sunshine and the proper diet, supplementation may help to provide us with the vitamin D our bodies may need. Some supplements out on the market provide vitaminD-2, a form which the body may have trouble absorbing. Vitamin D-3 is far more desirable because it is the substance that is formed as the sun touches human skin.
