My husband got a spray tan machine to spray me at home and we’ve been trying different norvelle products and so far this is my fav! It has a beautiful rose gold undertone and I’m very pale so this goes on beautiful brown with a slightly roses undertone. That makes it look like I’m tan natural with a little golden pinkish sunkiss. It goes on so well and dries quick and evenly. Even if the spray tan machine gives a drip or a little patchiness when you go to spray it off it’s still even! The smells delicious and tropical and lasts 7 days, especially moisturizing everyday which is key

I bought this because I wanted to try another violet base after having a poor experience with a different brand. I am very light complected and carry redness in my skin and when I tan naturally, I still have a lot of warmth. As such, a lot of sunless tanners end up orangey looking. This doesn’t! The violet base keeps the color natural looking AND the formula lets you choose your depth by choosing when to rinse off. I rinse after an hour and the result is the perfect “tan for me” shade - it basically looks like what I naturally look like after a week or so at the beach. Now, as far as the application goes: This is not one that you can put on and leave the house, unless you’re already quite tan or deeper complected, because the guard is very dark.  An important thing to note, particularly if you tend towards being dry: shower and exfoliate first (do not shave). Then moisturize everything with an oil free lotion and wait an hour. After an hour you can put on the tanning solution. I tend to put another layer of oil free lotion on my dry spots, just before, such as my knees, ankles, knuckles, and elbows.  I put my solution into a foam creating bottle, and I use my sunless tanner glove, as well as a back applicator. Also, and this sounds weird but go with it, grab your blow dryer and put it on cool and blow dry the absolute crap out of your entire body a few minutes after application. This does take a little while to dry down otherwise and that helps avoid patchiness.  While it is developing, also be mindful of skin against skin as that can create dark patches.

This stuff is AMAZING! The Venetian color is so natural, no oranginess, and it lasts on your skin for weeks! I put it in an aerosol spray bottle and rub it on with a tanning mit and it gives flawless results. I’ve gotten multiple friends and my 21 year old hooked on it as well. I just noticed there’s a spray machine on Amazon and now I know what I’m asking Santa for for Christmas! I’ll update with photos after my new bottle comes in tomorrow.
