I use this on my feet. Just a warning that if you use this product and decide to wear high heels you will feel your feet slipping within the shoes. I would use just a little bit and let your feet absorb it before putting heels on. This is the same for wearing sandals that have a slippery sole.
This product is something I always keep on hand even more so in the winter when my skin is the driest. I buy the 1 oz tin and carry that in my purse.
One recommendation is to keep this in a zip lock bag as the oils from this lotion can leak out.
I highly recommend this product.
1- you have glycerin
Glycerin is a skin-replenishing and skin-restoring ingredient, helping to establish normal balance and hydration. Essentially, glycerin is a master at hydration, and works best when combined with other replenishing and emollient ingredients.
2- you have dimethicone
dimethicone is used widely in skin-moisturizing lotions where it is listed as an active ingredient whose purpose is "skin protection." Some cosmetic formulations use dimethicone and related siloxane polymers in concentrations of use up to 15%. The Cosmetic Ingredient Review's (CIR) Expert Panel, has concluded that dimethicone and related polymers are "safe as used in cosmetic formulations."
These are great at hydrating the skin and protecting it through out the day
But hold up.
This is not good for oily skins- while this is hydrating it can cause the skin to look more slippery and oily through out the day as the silicon melts on the face
This can also clog your pores in you sleep in it.
It works great as a primer though
It goes on very cooling without a tingle and while you do need some to coat the whole face (especially if you’re dry) it has almost a greasy finish but not as bad as light weight sunscreen, but more like “ wow my skin feels soft, moisturized, and dewy.”
