I love the Professor Layton series... but this installment was terrible. The plot was not compelling. The characters this game introduces were frustrating and (even worse) boring. There was a weird interlude in the game that went on for way, way too long. It didn't make me excited to get the follow-up game (Azran Legacy) for the 3DS. If you're interested in this series, get the ones for the DS first. They have great puzzles, mini-games, and storytelling. This should not be your introduction to the series!

I've always enjoyed Professor Layton games because I love puzzles as well as a mystery story line. I also liked that this game allowed users to actually move Layton around as an actual character for a bit of the game.

This game was good, but not all it was cracked up to be. I liked playing the puzzles, but some of them were almost too easy. Overall, it kept me entertained for some time.

I'm just a sucker for this series so they really can't do wrong very easily in my book. I love their games and this one is included in that.
