B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Bowser) Get the party started with this special bundle, which includes both the game and the Super Mario series Mario amiibo figure. Bowser crashes the latest Mario Party, the first installment of the series on the Wii U console. In the new Bowser Party mini-games, play as Bowser himself and face off against up to four others playing as Mario and friends. Control Bowser using the buttons, motion controls and touch screen of the Wii U GamePad controller in different ways, and wreak havoc as Bowser in each mini-game while the other players strive to survive. FEATURES: Grab the GamePad and play as Bowser for the first time in the series. In Bowser Party mini-games, one player gets to be the fire-breathing Bowser as he tries to burn, bonk or blast other players away. Up to four players use Wii Remote controllers to cooperate and survive as they confront the Bowser player, who is using the Wii U GamePad. It's four against one, and being a party pooper has never been so much fun! Control Bowser in a variety of ways with the Wii U GamePad. In Bowser's Bad Breath, for example, the Bowser player moves the GamePad around to aim and shoot fireballs at the other players while they attempt to dodge them. Colors and textures pop off the screen as the Mario Party series leaps into high definition for the first time. Enjoy new mini-games in classic Mario Party style with up to four players. see more...

You know how you buy a $50 game for your kids, they play it (maybe!) until they beat it, and then they never play it again? This isn't one of those games. Our kids play this game over and over again, because each time it's different. Took off a star, because I don't think it would be nearly as fun if I had an only child. It's definitely better to have more players, rather than fewer.

Amiboo are used in select Nintendo Wii U games and save statistics that can be brought to a friends house or a competition and be used else where. Mario Party 10 is different than the usual Mario Party games as you don't collect big stars abd instead of coins you receive little stars. Game play is similar with one winner at end who receives extra points based on how well did throughout game but you all move together through the board.

Rated separately, I gave the Amiibo a 5-star review (since the value with the bundle was good, and you can't go wrong with an Amiibo) but the game itself is 3-star because I didn't like the game mechanics as much as older Mario Party games.

Game is really fun especially with the amiibo. Plus you also get to play as bowser in the game unlike all the other Mario party's that came out

Mario Party 10 has very many differences from its former games. Nintendo added many features and new styles of gaming. Instead of the play being many different players on the board at once, all of the players are in a cart, moving around the board together. Personally I do not prefer this. However, the addition of amiibos and new mini games, such as bonus games like tennis, makes up for the style change. About the amiibo's, they are very excellent quality and are fun to collect, they add certain quality to games making them more engaging, and bring a sense of fun outside of the game.

I usually look forward to new Mario party games, but this one was a great disappointment. I think Nintendo tried too hard to incorporate the game pad in boring ways. Took away from the actually Mario Party idea of the game.

This game is fun for families. Its not something you want to play by yourself or just 2 people. I was disappointed when i bought it thinking it would be more than just a board game style game

What is the amiibo used for in the game? Is it used a lot?
