The thickening conditioner complements the shampoo perfectly. It provides just the right amount of moisture without weighing my hair down, and after each use, my hair feels fuller and more voluminous. I've just begun using Aveda's Brilliance line, and overall, I'm pleased with this line. Although this conditioner is an excellent product, which would be fabulous for some, I don't love it as much as I love the shampoo. Yes, it injects my hair with a heavenly aroma and a boost of shine, but I'm not sure if it's a heavy enough conditioner for my hair type. You see, I have very long, thick, curly, coarse hair which never gives up its insatiable quest for moisture. It simply drinks it up. Therefore, for my specific hair type, I feel as though a much heavier/stronger acting conditioner would best be suited. Having said that, this is still an outstanding hair care product with a good number of benefits that I absolutely adore such as: Pros - Super lightweight - will never weigh hair down - Absolutely amazing detangler - Restores and or enhances shine - Contains a nourishing blend of plant oils including meadowfoam, babassu, and jojoba - Vegan - Plant derived - Fresh from the spa botanical scent - (this is Aveda's trademark scent which comes from their pure-fume aroma with jasmine, rose, certified organic clove, and other pure flower and plant essences) Drawbacks I don't believe that this product is specifically meant for people with very thick or curly hair or anyone whose hair requires copious amounts of moisture to stay in shape. This is best suited for those who are looking for a daily conditioner that won't weigh their hair down. In conclusion, this is an excellent lightweight conditioner which would be ideal for daily use. Good for daily use. I recommend this product for people with non-coarse hair, and I highly recommend it for use on children as a detangler.
