Neutrogena® On-the-Spot® Acne Treatment
4.02 / 5 based on 2,601 Reviews
Some acne spot treatments contain high doses of the acne medication Benzoyl Peroxide, which can irritate skin. It can also cause redness and dryness, which can make acne worse. Our formula contains just 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, yet is clinically proven to be so effective that skin starts getting clearer on day 1 – all without over-drying, stinging or burning skin.
This fast working formula is so lightweight that it quickly absorbs into skin. And it goes deep down to the pores to kill the acne bacteria that cause pimples and helps to prevent new ones from forming.
- Non-comoedogenic (won't clog pores)

Neutrogena® On-the-Spot® Acne Treatment
I’m so glad I’ve discovered this product it truly helps my trouble spots! As soon as i feel something coming i use this. Or if i already have a pimple and i stop myself from popping it i put this on and it’s gone pretty fast! This is the only brand I’ve used and plan on using forever
Lots of people think of this product as their holy grail but I didn’t see anything big happening. I have acne everywhere and i might of seen one or two zits a week go away out of 20. It wasn’t terrible but it just seemed like some more useless stuff to put on my face to “help” acne
Overall this product works well for spot treatment. I do not recommend useing it all over the face, as benzoyl peroxide can actually cause more breakouts because your skin becomes dependent on it. But like I said as a spot treatment, it works well, under make up or just as is.
THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS!! I’ve tried several different things but to get rid of my breaks out and out of nowhere pimples this is the best FOR ME. I have oily skin, and sometimes sensitive, I get a few random breaks out but if I use this at night then add my moisturizer I’m good.
This product works sometimes and others not so much. I find when I have stubborn acne breakouts it does little to help fast. It usually takes a couple weeks to clear up. It doesn’t dry out the skin surrounding the affected spots. Is affordable and you do get your money’s worth.
This product is great for drying out acne spots but be careful in not putting it all over your skin because it will dry it out. Its harsh formula clears redness and bumps but I personally have very sensitive skin so I do not recommend it to those who also have sensitive skin.
I have used this product for a few years. I love that it takes care of any pimples with in a few days. The packaging is simple, but the product works. I will continue to use this product. It is drying at times but i have dry sensitive skin. I would recommend this product.
This stuff works good! My sister bought it for us to try out and it worked. The only downside for me was that it took 4-5 days to completely work for me. For her was different. Besides that, everything was perfect. But the formula is nice and it’s honestly gentle on the skin...so no worries about burning and whatnot!
I would recommend but depending on your skin type. It worked well for me. I didn’t actually have acne though, I just had pimples all the time. I only use it at night, but it sometimes dried my skin out wherever i apply the product. Not bad though! It did work overall!
I liked this product for spot treatment and it worked pretty much as good as other spot treatments that I have used. It reduced the size of my pimples and lasted me a while. It wasn’t a miracle or anything different than anything i had used before, but it did the job.
