Is it better to use semi sweet chocolate morsels for baking over regular ones? Whats the difference?

As i get older, I like the the more bold flavor of chocolate so for me, yes. Matter of preference though.

It's a matter of preference. What kind of flavor are you going for in your recipe? Are you baking them into something or using them for a coating on something else?

The semi-sweet gives a much richer taste which causes you to use less sugar in your recipe!

Semi sweet is just like the name implies, only partially sweet. They use less sugar to make these chips than chocolate chips. Because they have less sugar they have more chocolate components to them. Since you are adding these to a cookie base with lots of sugar in them, your cookie will taste better and more complex with the semi sweet chips! Hope this helps!

Depends on what you're baking. I like to use a combination of semi, milk, and dark when I bake cookies.
