The Nesco Jerky gun is most frequently used by me during hunting season. It functions satisfactorily provided that it is consistently cleaned. Issues with the trigger may arise when the meat is resistant to being dispensed through the opening. It also comes with jerky seasoning that’s pretty good.

I have had this jerky gun for over 10 years and have made so many batches of beef jerky! You can make strips or sticks. I prefer the strips; they are the perfect thickness. The kit comes with curing packets and seasoning packets though I prefer to season myself (I like sweet and spicy teriyaki). It’s easy to assemble and disassemble for easy cleaning. This is great for jerky enthusiasts whether novice or expert!
