I love agave! I definitely have a bit of a sweet tooth but it's important to be mindful of sugar intake. For those of us looking to stay on the lower end of the glycemic index (that which indicates the speed at which sugar is released and processed in the bloodstream), agave is a great alternative to regular, processed sugar. Now keep in mind that agave is still high in sugar! It's just slower to process in the body, leaving the consumer with less of a spike in blood sugar over time and a longer lasting feeling of satisfaction

I love the more rich complex flavor this gives recipes than normal sugar. It is also great for anyone watching the GI of their goods as it is much lower than table sugar. I put a little squirt in my coffee, cocktails and smoothies to sweeten things up.

Like many, i use this as a healthy and, honestly, tastier method of sweetening my coffee. But, it's also a great alternative to simple syrup to sweeten a cocktail your #backyardbash

I have been trying to give up coffee so I've been making a lot of iced tea lately and instead of using sugar, I've changed over to this and it's so much better. I don't feel guilty about putting in a few drops and it makes my drinks taste so dang good. Really not that expensive either when you see how long it can last you

I am vegan and use agave nectar as a replacement for honey in recipes. I also use it for an all-purpose sweetener. I really like that it is low glycemic and it tastes great.
