Compared to other protein bars, do these have more/less sugar, more/less protein, more/less calories? I have heard both that they have MORE sugar than other protein bars and that they have LESS sugar than other protein bars. Which is it?

If you're looking for a better bar (but less tasty) go for an Atkins brand bar, or something similar in the food supplement aisle - they're much higher in protein and have fewer carbs. This will be a better source of high protein/low carb, but don't over do it! Make sure to check with your doctor before any diet changes.

I'm not sure if the product still does, but they used to have high fructose corn syrup with is not great for sugar content.

It really depends on what you're comparing them too, but i think in general they're kind of high in sugar, i just haven't found anything else to replace them with yet. they're still yummy!

These have less protein and carbs than a lot of the protein bars on the market. They also have more protein than a lot of bars on the market. They're a win win!
