Man I used to LOVE Kalahari. Super beautiful colors paired to perfection. Smooth pigment, little fall out and looked gorge. Packaging I wasn't super jazzed about as the rubber was impossible to clean once it got dirty and also started getting gummy with time. I wish this Nars came back! I miss being excited by their stuff!

The color duo that I’m reviewing is called Lost Coast. The colors in this are so gorgeous, a shimmering pastel lilac and a pale olive green with a soft golden shimmer. I particularly enjoy these NARS eyeshadow duos because they come in a beautiful range of colors that always pair well together, they have a silky formula that’s easy to apply and blend, and they’re long lasting. These particular shades in Lost Coast are very soft and sheer, but also buildable so as to not be as sheer. These ones are meant to be sheer, but even so I still get good pigmentation with them. There’s very little fall out, and as with everything else I’ve mentioned you can tell that they are very high quality. I’ve been using these duos as well as quite a few other NARS products for probably about 15 years now and have yet to be disappointed. They’re some of my favorite makeup products, and I’m always excited for the new colors and products.

Purchased from the Nars website. The nars eyeshadow duos have been good or mediocre depending on the shade. It has been quite inconsistent over the years. This duo is one of the better ones I’ve tried. Great little travel size palette or looking for something simple and straightforward. Some duos have drier formulas that can sheer out quite a bit when blended. Definitely easy to blend and buildable. Lasts about 7 hours without a primer, longer with. You really just have to test it out and see if it works for you. Definitely something I would rather purchase when it’s on sale
