I was gifted this MyCharge Portable Power bank in exchange for my honest review. I'm unfamiliar with this brand, though moderately familiar with power banks in general having tried quite an array of them from different brands. This one was a surprising and unfortunate disappointment. This one has no basic USB port to connect my phone using a longer cable. These cords, though seemingly very convenient, they're excessively short. Too short to really use the phone while charging so I guess prohibiting that for the phone's health is an unenthused plus. I have a charging bank similar to this one but it does in fact have every bit of what this bank does PLUS the USB port along with TWO additional types of charging cables connected to the bank in the same fashion as the two included in this one. I appreciate both the usb-c and lightning charging capabilities but the usb-c port seems strange. If I want to charge my cell phone using my own longer cable and I have to plug the usb-c side into this power bank in the port, where does the other end, the USB go? Most definitely not in any cell phone I'm aware of... Cell phones dont have usb ports correct? Weird.
