Very thick and durable material. My dog may have picked it up and shaking it around as if it was a chew toy and it did not tear. Does not appear to retain dog hair, which is a common problem in my house. I did not notice any pilling or transfer of color onto a white blanket that was near it.Very soft to the touch and aesthetically pleasing. I receive this product free for my honest opinion.
