I walked my dog before applying this for one of our daily long walks. Our walk consists of cement sidewalks and also black pavement. I know both l get hot especially when it’s over 80 F and sunny. When returning I was kicking myself for forgetting to apply and when looking at patsy’s paws, I could see that they looked raw. So the next day I dutifully remembered to apply to all paws. When coming home, her paws were still protected by mushers wax barrier and we were both happy! I can’t believe it took me this long to find this. Great alternative to those uncomfortable dog boots/shoes.
