Mt. Olive Roasted Red Peppers
In Puerto Rico we use this type of pepper for stewed rice, stewed beans, among other typical recipes. Actually when I moved to the United States I had not had the good fortune to find one that was very similar to the ones I'm used to ... However, when I visited Walmart I noticed this product and for the cost (I think it was like $ 1.86) I did not lose nothing. I loved the taste, very similar to the ones I used in my country. I love that it comes in a glass container, since I can keep it in the fridge and thus, the freshness of the product lasts.
I love these, and always have a jar in the fridge. It's affordable and a great addition to any recipe, or even adding it to a sandwich or wrap. My go-to when it comes to roasted red peppers is adding it to any chicken or pasta dish.
