I thought Mountain Dew peaked with Code Red, but then they blew my adolescent mind when I was in middle school by releasing possibly the most refreshing flavor of soda known to man. If you have Voltage ice cold, you are instantly transported to a thunder cloud upon a windy mountain, with lightning crackling throughout. The retailer I purchased these from had them on sale for $6 a 12 pack. An amazing value at 50¢ a can! Every single can is a gateway to satisfaction and nostalgia. The taste is blue. No more, no less. The best kind of blue. Not too chemically and artificial, but not exactly natural. It’s the perfect amount of sweet, a light dessert quality to accompany any meal or gaming session, or any time you need a thirst quenched. Definitely an S tier soda!
