No mixers, no chasers, just pure rum on an ice cube. I did end up making a Negroni and a bloody orange rummy with a grapefruit instead (all I had). But honestly, this is going to be my new favorite rum. It’s amazing right out of the bottle and I can’t drink anything that way. It’s not too stiff and it doesn’t taste like any of the distilling spirits that some other alcohols do. It tastes like marshmallowy burnt sugar cane and cask…. It tastes like nostalgia, memories of where it’s made (Barbados). Love it.

Gay XO Triple Cask Blend, I am immediately reminded of just how nice the nose on MGXO always was. The signature coconut aromas burst out at you. There is nice fruity note on the nose as well as the coconut – a kind of rum and raisin like aroma going down

This was the first time I picked up this rum and it was really good. We loved how rich and smooth it is. It is fantastic on its own or even with making a mixed drink. I would definitely buy it again.
