The vegetarian bacon is convenient—you can cook it in either the microwave or a pan. However, the taste is a bit disappointing to me. I might have been imagining it would be closer to real bacon. It’s salty and gets crispy enough, but it lacks deeper flavor. I would recommend it if you’re vegetarian, but if you’re not and are simply looking to try an alternative-protein bacon, it might not be the best choice.

We received this product as a free product to review. This product overall is most likely as delicious as other Morningstar products, however we were unable to actually taste test it as it has egg in it which many other Morningstar products do not. We rely on the Morningstar products without egg for my family. I still HIGHLY recommend as an alternative to meat bacon.

This bacon tasted just like the 'real thing' and best of all it was ready in two mins. The product browned up crispy just like its cousin pork. My family couldn't taste the differences
