OK PLS READ so for the past 26 years of my life I have always struggled with the bad habit of biting/peeling my lips. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s due to my anxiety or or some weird oral fixation hand to mouth habit or pure boredom. But my WHOLE LIFE I have tried to stop the biting inside my cheeks/lips habit. It’s gross. I know. It’s unattractive to watch, I know. My lips would bleed and scab and be literally raw due to the habit. I’ve tried for 26 years to break this habit and allow the skin on my lips to grow back. I really wanted lip fillers but was told you can’t get them if you bite your lips. So I thought that would help motivate me and it didn’t work. Anyways I met a girly who swore that this stuff helped heal her lips after getting them done so I thought I’d try it. I originally had this tube to use on healing tattoos, which WORKS by the way, definitely recommend for that but also on my lips…….wow. It’s been like a week of me using this instead of my regular chapstick or lipgloss and WOW my lips are HEALED!!!! for some reason the ointment like texture also helps repel the habit to bite. Honestly the slimy texture in my mouth is gross which is why I think it does. But my lips are finally healing so much faster than before and it just looks like a really cute clear gloss when it’s on. Seriously the best decision I ever made. I’m interested to try their lip balm made for this reason. After 26 years of trial and error and being angry with the habit I couldn’t break, I feel like this product will finally allow me the freedom that I’ve been longing for.
