The third book in Suzanne Collins's phenomenal and worldwide bestselling Hunger Games trilogy is now available in paperback. "My name is Katniss Everdeen. Why am I not dead? I should be dead." Katniss Everdeen, girl on fire, has survived, even though her home has been destroyed. There are rebels. There are new leaders. A revolution is unfolding. District 13 has come out of the shadows and is plotting to overthrow the Capitol. Though she's long been a part of the revolution, Katniss hasn't known it. Now it seems that everyone has had a hand in the carefully laid plans but her. The success of the rebellion hinges on Katniss's willingness to be a pawn, to accept responsibility for countless lives, and to change the course of the future of Panem. To do this, she must put aside her feelings of anger and distrust. She must become the rebels' Mockingjay - no matter what the cost. see more...

Wonderful series of books. Definitely worth a read if you're into those post apocalyptic world type of book. An easy read, not very complicated. The movies are quite popular. I would read this again.

Amazing book series. The ending kind of lost the vibe from the first book but that's okay. Characters developed and we were brought along to see how. It shows how opression can affect the world. I liked the ending.

After starting and restarting these books for years, I finally read all three all the way through in order this year. Thanks to graduating college and finding leisurely reading time. This series is so good and this book is good. There is definitely drama and action. Katniss is very introspective in this book when it comes to understanding who she can trust and what is worth fighting for. She worries about justice and doing the right thing, and realizes just how tricky that can be. Great series and great ending. Sad it is over.

The final book of the Hunger Games series is phenomenal. It helps tie up loose ends, such as what happened to the other contestants in the games, or why Rose was always coughing up blood. The movie leaves out a lot of the more intimate details (as usual). If you enjoyed the movies, I definitely recommend that you read the book series!

I eagerly read the final installment but was a bit disappointed. It was definitely a bit slow to read in many parts and I had to resist the urge to skip to the end. Sadly it was easier to watch the movie than to read this book. Gave it three stars because you have to know how it ends.

Love the hunger game books. The movie was great but a lot is taken out that only in the books would give you morr detail to. So I like to read the books first then watch the movies so I can have a better ubderstanding an appreciation.

This is a wonderful series and the final installment did not disappoint. It is wonderfully written and doesn't leave you hanging like so many stories. This truly tells the very end of the story.

I have read all of the hunger games books, and I believe this one didn't live up to my expectations. I absolutely loved the first 2 books, but the third and final book didn't do enough for me.

I love these books. My husband bought them for me or my birthday! I've read them at least 3 times. And of course they are better than the movies!

Read all three this one kind of seemed repetitive like she was just trying to drag everything out. It didn't get good until the very end.
