- "Sadly we crashed it but the gas mileage was great and I loved that it looks very sporty " in 5 reviews
I drive a Mitsubishi Galant, which was purchased used about ten years ago. It is now nearing the 200, 000 mile mark. I have definitely had to do repairs on the car - which is part and parcel of owning any vehicle. It has great pick up and responsive breaks which are both pluses. The design of the car puts it very low to the ground, making it hard to see around larger SUVs and trucks on the road. This is also dangerous, in my opinion, when in an accident since the hood of the car is low enough to accordion back while the nose goes underneath a larger car (hope that makes sense). I was recently told by a mechanic that Mitsubishi makes quality, long lasting engines.
I purchased a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 6 months ago. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this crossover! Mine is bright blue! I get a lot of comments the color & looks of my sweet ride. It handles fabulously. Getting used to the CVT 7 speed automatic transmission was the worst part. It has great pick up and has no problem accelerating onto the interstate. It is comfortable. The gas mileage isn't as great as I would have hoped. It averages 26-27 miles per gallon. I have and will continue to recommend this vehicle to my friends and family.
I drove a 2004 Galant which I bought in 2009 used and it was perfect! I recently sold the vehicle and deeply regret it, it had so much power for a 4 cylinder engine! I had one major mechanical problem in 7 years, with my catalytic converter and it was more expensive to fix and for parts than a different car would have been but it was the first mechanical problem and only one I had one. Super roomy, fit 5 adults comfortably with enough leg room, good gas mileage and drove super smooth.
I've had two Mitsubishi eclipses the first motor blew and the one I'm driving now has a few electrical issues and a few motor issues. I love the car and the gas mileage but I've put so much money into this car I've practically bought it twice. It wouldn't be my first pick to recommend for sure but it is a decent car for a cheap price. Plus parts are hard to find or have to be specially order so that can be a hassle also.
I drive it everyday and its just not a comfortable ride. It is a big step down from my previous car (Ford Explorer) which I regret not buying out now... I count down the days until I can turn this one in and get something else. Its not horrible its just a disappointment in comparison to my last vehicle, its amazing how different something that is supposed to be comparable can be!
I love my Mitsubishi Outlander and the customer service I have recorded at the dealership. they go above and beyond to make sure you star satisfied and to help in whatever way. I got 0% financing and my payment was much cheaper on a new vehicle than buying used. I love all the features and safety features on my vehicle. I will be a repeat customer.
Mitsubishi has made a name for themselves with cars that run for a long period of time and fantastic gas mile. Not to mention something to look good driving in! Nice body styles and many extras to choose from. If you want a car that's going to give you your money's worth, than a Mitsubishi is a great choice!
I recently purchased an outlander with the third row. I love it comes in handy when my kid wants to go on an outing with friends. The only thing is the third row has very little leg room and takes away trunk space. Also no back air vents so people in the back have to suffer in the 110 degree weather we get
I personally owned a Mitsubishi Mirage about a decade ago. It was a super little vehicle. The gas mileage was outstanding. The con was no cruise control. The pro was a really smooth drive and the size was perfect for my growing family. I loved driving it all over the place. Decent auto manufacturer.
I love my Endeavor. It is a great SUV that is wonderful in ice and snow and great during the summer. The one thing I hate is Mitsubishi made the rear wiper a dealer item so I have not had a rear wiper since they want way too much to change it out. I will look for another Mitsubishi in the future.
