Missoni EDP is a bright fruity floral fragrance that reminds me of summertime. It has a vibrant citrus opening that is a bit tart and a bit sweet with notes of pear, citron, bergamot and Italian lemon. Though the opening has a bite, it is not astringent or bitter. The body of this fragrance is pretty with floral notes of jasmine Sambac and petalia - a fragrance note that has a fresh floral scent similar to rose, lily-of-the-valley, or peony with a fruity undertone. The base of this perfume is where the magic happens. The mix of tonka bean, Ambroxan and sandalwood dry down to make this a slightly sweet, ambery scent on the skin with woody nuances. This perfume has a pink bubblegum scent that resembles Zebra stripe gum when smelled very close to the skin. It is similar to Jimmy Choo Floral EDT from a distance. This is a safe blind buy for a gift or collector. Many reviews state Missoni EDP does not last long. However, one spray lasts on the back of my hand through several washings. As well, when I shower, this perfume comes back to life and fills the bathroom air long after I am no longer able to smell it on my skin. I purchased this awesome summertime fragrance at TJ Maxx. It is a fun, flirty perfume I recommend for pool parties and summer days.
