As a first-time mama to be, I've fallen in LOVE with this book's beautiful, mindfulness-based approach to pregnancy and child birth. Of all the books I've paged through during my pregnancy, this has been the only one that's left me feeling calm, confident and less anxious about all the unknown elements; pain, labor itself, the birthing process, etc.
The meditation/yoga exercises have been HUGELY beneficial for me in terms of calming my nerves and helping me feel prepared for what's to come, and I've noticed such a beautiful increase in overall awareness since I began to include more of the practices from the book in my everyday life. This will absolutely be a book I recommend to all my future mama friends!
