They were incredibly easy to put together, coming with all the tools needed to assemble. They have a wood top and well made metal bottom. You can attach them together for stacking or use them separately. The one thing I will say is in a standard cabinet, they are too high to utilize the top shelf. They go perfect in a pantry or to organize under a sink or bathroom.
