Powder-filled blurring microspheres blur pores, imperfections, fine lines, and cut shine, not glow, for a soft-focus effect.

Thirty-one percent lighter than most setting powders to lock in makeup all day, without adding heavy cakiness. The talc-free, silicone-free formula won't cause a chalky cast, or flashback.

Avocado powder and hyaluronic acid combine for smooth skin that allows powder to lay without settling into fine lines.

Ingredients: Mica/CI 77019, Nylon-12, lauroyl Lysine, zea mays (corn) starch, silica, magnesium myristate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, persea gratissima (avocado) fruit extract, maltodextrin, sodium hyaluronate, methyl methacrylate crosspolymer May contain/peut contenir: iron oxides/CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, ultramarines/CI 77007

Usage: If using enclosed sponge place sponge over mesh and shake to pick up powder, then lightly dust all over face as a final step to set makeup.

If using a brush to set makeup, bounce brush into mesh opening to pick up powder, tap off excess, and dust all over face as a final step to set makeup.

I was so excited when milk announced they’d be launching a setting powder, I bought it as soon as I could!

I love milk’s minimalist packaging, but I’m not the biggest fan of the mesh cover that goes over the product itself; I find it’s more difficult to get product through it, regardless of what tool I’m using. The little sponge it comes with is cute, but doesn’t work very well for me, either? It’s honestly probably in combination with the mesh top, but I usually don’t use the tools included with products like this anyway.

Now, the powder itself is fantastic. It leaves a nice, soft, blurred finish to the skin; making my pores disappear almost completely! I find I do still get a little oily when using this powder, but it has been unreasonably hot in Southern California, and I work 8 hour days outdoors, so I’m not entirely surprised or upset by this. I’ve been on the hunt for a good new powder lately, and this might just be it. The fact that it also comes in multiple shades, and is a cruelty-free & vegan product, is definitely a huge plus.

I really wanted to like it, but honestly I am not that impressed by this powder. Have the other people reviewing this actually tried to use it? Whoever thought of this packaging design didn't actually TRY this did they? I like that it comes with the sponge but what good is it if it takes so much effort to get actual powder through the mesh. They even mention pouring the powder on the lid but it's impossible to get anything out through the mesh. So forget using the sponge, I'm going with my powder brush. The only way I can get a decent amount of powder out is to flip the sponge holder part back onto the mesh part and shake it upside down. This is too much work when I'm trying to get out of the house in the morning. Besides that, I don't notice any amazing results with the setting powder that Covergirl's powder or Maybelline Fitme doesn't do. Not impressed overall, but at least the powder seems to kind of work and doesn't break me out.

WOW! So I received this in my VoxBox this month and honestly, I am kinda SHOOK at how good this powder is. First of all, the packaging is A+; I love Milk Makeup's aesthetic in general but I really like how the loose powder is under this mesh cushion almost and comes with a top to snap it shut and a little sponge applicator. I probably won't use the sponge applicator, but it's a nice touch that could be good on the go. The formula is super creamy and lightweight and I feel as if it melts into my skin. It doesn't give you that "powdery" and tight feel or finish that many other translucent powders do. Also, it's delicately pigmented and not overbearing for my skin tone. Hopefully this medium shade will work on my skin at my palest in the winter! Overall, I recommend this product and I would for sure buy again when I run out! I received this product complimentary from Influenster in order to review.

Purchased right away on the MILK makeup website when it launched. I just received it today. the packaging is cute and minimalist. the sponge is a good idea but I tested and will likely use this with a slightly damp beauty blender or fluffy brush to apply in the future. the powder is light and smoothed the look of my skin for sure and seemed to set my face nicely. we will see how the wear test goes today! the only thing I didnt like much is the mesh net distribution part, I've had other products like this in the past so I get the idea but I had a really hard time getting any powder whatsoever on my beauty blender....and I tried many different things. otherwise solid purchase so far!

Let me start by saying that I’ve tried a lot of setting powders but this is definitely up there with the Laura Mercier deep translucent powder, if not surpassing. It claims to blur pores, set makeup all day and smooth without settling into fine lines. It definitely accomplishes all of that. I wear it in combination with a full face of foundation and concealer and it doesn’t feel heavy at all. I’m very oily skinned and it still leaves me with a natural matte finish that doesn’t separate or transfer. The packaging is a clear matte canister that’s simple and aesthetically pleasing. A nice addition to any vanity. My only issue (and it’s barely an issue) is that you don’t have the option to free pour if you want to bake. Also the applicator doesn’t pick up much product but i prefer using a brush anyway.

So I usually set my face with translucent powder but after receiving this MILK powder I am now a sworn blur & set fan. I am used to the powder coming out and taking a sponge to my face to set it so I was a little perplexed on how to use the mesh on top but after a few tries I finally got the hang of it. It seriously shrinks all of my pores and soaks up all the excess oil on my face. I truly wish it was smaller so I could throw it in my purse and take it out with me. I love this product.

I’ve been looking for a translucent powder for ages that didn’t make me look like a ghost and this is definitely it! It blurs out your pores and and is a great setting powder for oily skin. Shine is kept to a minimum and it has a wonderfully smooth texture. There’s no flashback and it doesn’t make me look ashy, which is usually the case since I am of darker complexion. I would recommend this product 10 times over and it’s definitely worth the money.

I was very impressed with this setting powder. Normally they’re either way too dry, leave an obvious yucky film, or change the color of your makeup (no matter what the package says it will do). The packaging is suuuuper minimalist, smooth, and just all around pretty. I’m one of those weird people that keep all of my makeup and skincare in its original packaging throughout use, so it’s nice to have a pretty, sturdy box!

This is the first powder I’ve used where my undereye didn’t crease. I also have normal to dry skin, with only my nose and sometimes chin getting shine when I wear foundation. It’s hard to find a powder that doesn't accentuate my dry skin while also taking care of the makeup shine. This one does the trick! Went on super easy, I couldn’t feel that I was wearing it, and kept me from shining all day (and I live in Texas, y’all). Love!.....*product given complimentary in exchange for a honest review*

Finding the perfect setting powder for WOC is one of the hardest things in creating a flawless base. Most times it’s either the setting powder is too red or leaves a grey/white cast. Milk makeup blur + set translucent setting powder (medium deep) is excellent for setting the entire face while keeping the foundation true to its color. It does not create any cakiness or give flashbacks. It truly blurs and sets the foundation & removes shine. The packaging is perfect. It’s simple, minimalist and the mesh helps to limit excess amount of powder that gets on the brush or sponge which allows for easy application.

Some cons:
1) It is not matte (but your skin looks glowy which I like)
2) does not blur fine line (I have a lot of them lol)

Other than the 2 cons, which I can live with, I will definitely continue to use this powder. Foundation reference fenty 420, CoverFx N100Milk Makeup Blur + Set Matte Loose Setting Powder

Let me begin this review by saying I DO NOT use setting powder in my every day make up routine. I know, wild right? I enjoy the dewy look and luckily I don't get oily or greasy. That being said, I have tries every powder out there. Laura Mercia, RCMA, KVD - girl I've tried them all! I've also tested all the powders with different foundations and concealers because I thought maybe the combo just didn't. But none of the powder and foundation combos ever worked for me. It ALWAYS looked cakey, using a sponge, brush anything! I tried a light hand and all, and still it just looked really cakey. I hated using powders and how it looked and felt on me. THEN CAME THIS BEAUTY!!! Guys, I am telling you, this stuff is legit. I like that they offer three different shades of a translucent powder and I really love the packaging. The powder is so silky and melts into my skin. Like actually melts into my skin and makes it look sooo flawless. I received this complimentary from Influenster to review, but guys, I am obsessed with this. Literally changed the game for me. If you never use powders because it looks too cakey or sits funky on your skin, I am telling you to try this. You'll love it.
