it's been shown that dogs need grain in their diets. They are omnivores not carnivores. its been linked that grain free diets are causing heart issues in dogs. this came directly from my veterinarian. plus my dog specifically has a sensitive stomach so it gave her diarrhea even if I gave her a few pieces over time. but the minerals and vitamins in the food is a great thing.
