I never even knew this was classified as a men’s fragrance. I find it to be unisex, on the darker side being an oud with a hint of sweetness to it. I wear it on its own but could see someone layering this as a base fragrance with a biter sweet scent on top. The projection is subtle but it’s lasting power is strong. Stays on all day even through workouts. Expensive for sure but worth the money if you’re truly a collector looking to add a great oud to your mix.
Was too heavy for me. It is a unique smell but definitely try it out before purchasing it’s either you like it or not..
This is my favorite MFK perfume and makes me feels so fancy. I only wear this on special occasions and only a few sprays goes a long way.
This reminds me of some perfumes I encountered in Southern Arabia years ago. This is one of the best takes on oud and rose (without any sweetness from vanilla!) that I have found produced by a Western house. It smells authentic. I prefer it to Tom Ford's Oud Fleur as Silk Mood is lighter and more versatile.
I have both this and the extrait version and wore them on alternate arms to directly test. Whilst both very good, this one edges it for me in terms of scent. However, it lasts for about 4 hours whereas the Extrait lasts for about 6 hours.
I'll start out by saying even though this is a unisex frangrance this is absolutely not a scent for everyone as it is exceptionally heady. but for me I find it to be so unique and gorgeous that it's become my go to evening perfume. *as it's possibly too strong for day wear* It is delicious and smells like turkish delight but the rose also isn't too floral that it still smells very youthful. It's very similar to baccarat in ways but it's a lot sweeter.
The smell is amazing and long lasting. It smells oudy and with vanilla notes, you get some notes to flowers. This smell is very unisex, it’s just a gem, I recommend it.
I thought I would love this so much but it was the opposite. I couldn’t scrub it off fast enough. Couldn’t even shower it off and could still smell it on a new clean shirt.
I know this is a very well made fragrance with luxurious ingredients, but I hate the way it smells.
The best way I can describe it is an old Revlon Blush. Old makeup. A ton of Violet and geranium and POWDER. The oud doesn’t bother me, it’s everything else. Thé rose is not a sweet, jammy Rose. To me, it’s a sharp Rose. Just couldn’t wait to get it off my skin and clothes.
This scent smells soooo good! Definitely a little more masculine; on my skin it smells heavenly at first and then dries down with a very heavy oud smell & personally it was not for me.
This is a fantastic fragrance for a man still unisex and can be wore by a commanding presence type of women. There’s something very alluring in it that draws you in.
#MaisonFrancisKurkdijian #OudSatinMood is my "I feel good fragrance". For now I only have a sample but eventually I'll have to splurge, maybe for San Valentine.
This fragrance It's very unique in every step of the way. According to Fragrantica the top notes of this feminine masterpiece are Bulgarian Rose, Chamomile and Bergamot, middle notes Hedione, Guaiac wood and in the base notes Agarwood (Oud) and papyrus. This fragrance is a mood changer to me, feminine, alluring, dreamy, comforting but stylish and classic. Absolutely a unisex masterpiece.[product:maison-francis-kurkdjian-oud-satin-mood-eau-de-parfum-24-oz] [product:maison-francis-kurkdjian-oud-satin-mood-eau-de-parfum-24-oz] [product:maison-francis-kurkdjian-oud-satin-mood-eau-de-parfum-24-oz] [product:maison-francis-kurkdjian-oud-satin-mood-eau-de-parfum-24-oz] [product:maison-francis-kurkdjian-oud-satin-mood-eau-de-parfum-24-oz] [product:maison-francis-kurkdjian-oud-satin-mood-eau-de-parfum-24-oz] [product:maison-francis-kurkdjian-oud-satin-mood-eau-de-parfum-24-oz] [product:maison-francis-kurkdjian-oud-satin-mood-eau-de-parfum-24-oz] [product:maison-francis-kurkdjian-oud-satin-mood-eau-de-parfum-24-oz]
