I adore the melt cosmetics matte lipstick formula. I do find there can be differences between the finish based on the shades used. I don’t find the neutral and lighter shades to be overly matte but the deep shades, particularly the deep reds and purples are generally extremely matte. That being said I love all versions of it. Every shade is always super pigmented and has great opacity. The shade range is amazing too, there is a colour for everyone! The shade laced is one of my all time faves as it is a cool toned lavender leaning ‘neutral’. Also I love the smell of their lipstick formula, almost candy like.

I usually like a matte liquid lip and this accomplishes a beautiful matte finish without drying out the lips. Great formula and there's a color for everyone
