I originally purchased this product on a sheer whim because I was completely out of my regular coffee filters and it ended up being one of my now go to filters. What intrigued me about the Melitta Natural Brown Coffee Filter was the fact that it is 100% compostable and is chlorine and bleach free. I never thought about how using white coffee filters has added chemicals and possibly toxins that just seep through your coffee right before you consume. I also love that they partner with conservation companies that protect our wildlife and plant hundreds and thousands of trees. The design of the filter was a little odd in the beginning whenever I initially purchased them but, I soon got used to it and found that not one single time have I had coffee grinds in my pot. The filters I used to purchase were a lot flimsier and thus having coffee grinds in my coffee pot at least once a week which is too much in my opinion. Overall this has become my favorite disposable coffee filter by far.

These are the only filters I use. They work very well and are safe. They are unbleached and durable. They are compatible with almost every drip coffee system. I think they are a good value for the money.

These coffee filters are easily-accessible given that they are currently sold at most major retailers, which made it easy for me to purchase them unlike my Technivorm Moccamaster filters which are generally sold online. These coffee filters have a functional design that fit my Technivorm Moccamaster KBGV Select well. From a durability standpoint they are top-tier and hold up as expected during the coffee brewing process. The resulting brewed coffee tastes fresh and strong whereas oftentimes other coffee filters either filter too much, filter too little, or leave a chemical-like taste. The Melitta brand prioritizes sustainability, which is another selling point.
