I finally tried this deep conditioner recently, and at first I wasn’t sure if I would like it because of its lightweight/thin texture (I have medium-coarse type 4 hair). It applies easily, and although I was a little heavy handed while applying it to my medium density hair I still have quite a bit of product left after just one use. I used a heat cap after application and let it sit on my hair for about 30 mins. Rinsing this deep conditioner out was the moment I realized that I love it. My hair felt so soft, silky and moisturized! And I really needed that, because I’d just washed my hair with a new clarifying and moisturizing shampoo combo that left my hair not feeling its best. I already love the multi-use oil and the twisting cream from Melanin Haircare, and this deep conditioner quickly became a favorite as well from the brand.
