Review for: On-The-Go Tote Pump Kit more...
The Medela on the go saved my breast pumping lifestyle. I was a bit skeptical of using a breast pump as I hear it doesn't do nearly a good job as baby, but I need to use it for when I was away from my little one. I think this pump exceeded my expectations it came with a stylish not so obvious bag and I had enough room to put all my supplies in the bag. The only thing I think felt through for me is the battery life that the little battery pack has. It is not very good and when the batteries are close to a goner, the pump doesn't work too well. Other than that I loved this choice of breast pump for all those working moms.
I received this breast pump at no cost to me through my health insurance. It came with the pump, tubes, adaptors and connectors and two bottles with lids. Thre pump itself is covered but it does not come with a storage bag. The instructions are clear and the pump is easy to use. I don't think it is very noisy and it doesn't seem to distract or annoy my son. It provides good suction. The breast shields are 24mm and it doesn't come with multiple sizes like some other pumps. It's relatively easy to clean and not too heavy for travel. I found that after a few weeks of daily pumping, the pump started sounding like it has to work harder. I'm a little concerned about it breaking but I believe there is a warranty. Hoping to avoid all of that though.
I used this pump daily for over year. I could never have made it 19 months of breastfeeding without this pump. I received this for free from my insurance company and used it occasionally for several months before using it daily while working. It is not too heavy that it can't be taken with you to and from work and powerful enough to do the job quickly. I do wish that the starter kit included a couple different sizes of flanges to determine fit. You will definitely want a hands free pumping bra though.
I don’t know what I would do without this pump. I exclusively pumped for my daughter for 12 months and this pump was my old reliable. It works great. I love that it can be used with a car charger and a battery pack. This is so important for pumping outside the house. It’s also nice that you can find spare parts and accessories in stores or on Amazon. This pump is the only one I’ve tried but I never felt any need for anything else. Get it from your insurance if you can!
Thanks to my insurance I was able to get everything at no cost. So highly recommend asking your insurance if they cover a pump. It works like a dream. I loved it. It was quiet compared to my other one. Love that it's a double pump. I do recommend getting a pump bra Medela Easy Expressions Bustier so you get othrt things done or just to have you hands free. Amazing pump. Never had problems and I used it for two babies back to back.
The pump works well I really can't complain. Its relatively quiet, and has a good suction. Plus I was able to get his model for free through my insurance. I do feel like I miss out on some of the fancier features that the Sonota, or the smart pumps that track your flow for you. But in reality those are just bells and whistles and this baby gets the job done perfectly fine without the fun techie upgrades.

I love the fact that i was able to carry this to work with me with easy. there wasn't any worry about getting it into work or from home to work. The little cooler that was able to fit into my works fridge was amazing add to the bundle i had. I would recommend this to every mother! only thing is i like nicely decorated stuff so i would say add some colors not just black :)
I received this pump free with my insurance and used to for the 13 months I breastfed my son. I started pumping right away since we had so many breastfeeding issues and I wanted to make sure he was actually getting milk so this pump was used a lot! I then used it when I went back to work full-time. This is the only pump I have ever used so I can't compare it but it did the trick for me. It can't compare to a baby as far as milk supply but it kept my son well fed. I also highly suggest the brand Maymom on amazon for spare parts (affordable compared to medela brand). I got tired of washing them nonstop so I bought extras and then would just do a massive wash when I was out. Plus this way I could have some at home and some at work.
i have three children and this pump was my favorite hands down. The price was only a couple of hundred bucks, but for the quality of the way the pump operates, its was well worth the Walmart buy. This is definitely something I would buy again if I had to, but i dont think this one will be needing to be replaced any time soon.
I purchased this pump to use because my son was born early and in the nicu. It works great, is easy to use and super user friendly. I only wish it had timer settings to choose 15. 20. 30 minute options. I have to set a timer in my phone when pumping. It’s worth the money!
