I purchased both flavors of the MorningStar rebs the first time I saw them. As a lifelong vegetarian, I was incredibly disappointed when MorningStar farms discontinued, their old riblets. I’ve been looking for a replacement for ages, so naturally when I saw these released, I purchased them without a second thought. My initial concerns were that the price was pretty steep compared to what I remember. There’s also no option to cook your two riblets separately, you have to cook both at one time. I find this kind of wasteful since I’m the only one eating them, and I would rather be able to save the second rib for later. I tried cooking these both in the microwave and the oven. The oven is WAY better. In terms of profile, I really appreciate these because they are high protein. The flavor is OK… A little sweeter than I prefer. Overall, I’m glad these are “back” but they’re definitely different. Please excuse the ugly plate! I wanted to add a picture and this was the only one I took. Whoops.

They were easy to prepare, but the taste and texture could be improved. They were decent but you can't beat the real thing. If you're vegan you'll probably like them.

So happy to have gotten the opportunity to try this item. It is very good. I would very much get this again in the future for my family to enjoy as well.
