I have used Mealpal years back and now im back in the bay area. I am traveling to Europe for the rest of the year and place the account on HOLD but still charging my CC, when i requested to use the remainder 42 credits all customer service agent kept emailing (no phone number to call) so be ware! She kept emailing me that i can use my credits if i pay for more!! Ridiculous!! They can eat those $40 worth but I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH APPS WITH NO PHONE AGENTS TO SPEAK TO. TERRIBLE THAT THEY WANT ME TO PAY MORE!! I ALREADY PAID FOR THE CREDITS!!

The worst business ever! Disgusting! Total rip off and arrogant customer service! Ate up my $96+ and play with words. Tried so many ways and I just want my money back! When I asked them if I cannot get the refund then reopen my account, they even tried to make me sign a legal letter!! Disgusting!

I used to like this company a lot, until it has become very inflexible and expensive. It has lost its value in NYC. I will probably not using it anymore, after expending my current credits. You are probably paying more than ordering from restaurants unless you are very diligent in spending each credit, and the way they structure their program is that you waste a few credits each month-- the roll over is only psychological but not mathematical "feel good".
