This is my secret ingredient for guacamole. I actually use this in lieu of black pepper quite often. White pepper has a smooth taste to it, not as much bite as coarse black pepper. It is a little more expensive, but how much pepper do you really use at a time? Used in moderation, it is more than worth it.
